Nanomaterials are at the leading edge of the rapidly developing field of nanotechnology. Their unique properties find extensive application in many areas of human activity. Biological effects of nanomaterials are due to the peculiarities of their composition and structure, and are determined by specific organization of living beings. The paper identifies theoretical and practical aspects of the study of biological effects of nanomaterials.
