The article is devoted to the problem of the increased cardiovascular risk in chronic kidney disease. It reviews the role of hypercalcemia, hyperphosphatemia, secondary hyperparathyroidism, fibroblast growth factor 23, Klotho, and dyslipidemia in the increased risk of cardiovascular events in chronic kidney disease, and discusses features of their correction. |
